Eileen joined KMA in 2023, serving as a part-time Project Assistant while simultaneously pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the Boston Architectural College. They learned about KMA from the owner of a neighborhood greengrocer where they work part-time, and where KMA Managing Principal Josh Safdie is a regular customer.
As a Project Assistant, Eileen supports the multifamily and higher education teams by gathering and organizing project materials in preparation for plan reviews and construction walks. Their ease with technology has allowed them to help lead an effort to adopt and roll out new project management software as well, which has been a boon to the entire firm.
As an emerging designer, Eileen champions a simple, people-centered approach. They are inspired by the potential of sustainable materials and the opportunity those present for vulnerable communities.
When they’re not busy studying or working, Eileen likes to hike, camp, and sew.
