On Wednesday, August 2, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced that $38 million of funding will be available “to fight housing discrimination.”   Over $30 million of the funding is targeted for Private Enforcement Initiative grants – “available to organizations that conduct intake, testing, investigation and litigation” under the Fair Housing Act (FHA).
