On January 23, 2018, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced $37 million of funding will be available “to fight housing discrimination.”   Over $30 million of the funding is targeted to its Private Enforcement Initiative grants – “available to organizations that conduct intake, testing, investigation and litigation” under the Fair Housing Act (FHA).
